Milwaukee Bruiser

Here she is finally! Its a Milwaukee Bruiser in High Polish Silver. It's a medium, just a little bit bigger looking than Rinzin's Joust. It's probably the 700's vs 26". Thanks for our polo playing, good friend Luke at Revolution Bike & Bean for assisting in the final build up! All that is left is to run a brake cable! Now my beat-to-hell old Raleigh can cruise the streets with me once again...

Midwestern Championships - May 22nd-23rd, 2010

Registration is already open so we need to get on this. $45/team or $15/person and the Minneapolis club will provide housing. Transportation will take a bit of planning (it's like a 12 hour drive) so we need to have exact numbers of drivers/passengers and/or book alternative transportation (i might go early and take the train, for instance). The registration is kinda specific- check it out here.

Indy visiting tomorrow - polo in the park!

A few our of good friends from Indianapolis will be coming down tomorrow to play polo with us. We're gonna try a start a bit earlier than usual, but since most of us hang out at the Bike Project from 12-3 anyways we should just plan on meeting there then going to the big court once we have enough people. Grilling out again might be a possibility (if john's up for bringing his grill).

Don't forget the Farmer's Market is back up and running strong! Wake up early to get your veg at the market, swing by the project and fix your bike, then we'll polo the day away!

So its official! Ft Wayne is now getting it going! I got word from Stanislav that he has started pickup there! He has a young crew but said in a few weeks they are ready to travel! INTER-INDIANA POLO LEAGUE I HEAR?!?! Thanks to Zach for the recon.

Update - The Constitution of Bloomington Bike Polo has been submitted to the Student Organization people and the roster for starting it up is Tyler, Lembo, Bruce, Donniekong, and Sideshow Bob.

UPDATE: Bloomington Bike Polo is an official student organization at Indiana University!

Tuesday Night Sprints

A weekly event we are trying to get going. Short street sprints at different locations around town. $1 entry fee. Meet 9pm at Sample Gates and ride to spot. Come out!
