Bench Minor Team!

So as we are now, the Bloomington "(fill in the blanks)" have a 93ish% solid roster for our Halloween Havoc versus Indianapolbutts. If you don't recognize your team name and think you should be on the team, talk to the Captain at polo tomorrow.
The roster is as follows:

We will be working on the jerseys from 6P.M. at The Polo Haus/Zachary's from 6P.M. until 7:45. If you are playing, come make ya jersey, we have the stuff, you come do it, if you can.

Also, No afternoon/5P.M. polo at the Big Courts 10/28!

And I am going to petition to Mitch Daniels that Indianapolis should be changed to Indianapolbutts...just sayin'..

It's once again time to prove that Bloomington > Indianapolis.

Don't worry if there're a little confusing, i'll be clarifying everything at pickup on Thursday night. If you're on the team (you know who you are) then make sure to show up for practice. "Uniforms" are being designs as we speak!

Even if you're not playing on saturday y'all should come up cause it's gonna be a great time! Halloween festival going on downtown followed by the Monster Mash alleycat....


It's gonna be a good weekend. Start stockpiling the Four Loko.

Lost bag of polo t shirts...

Ok, so of all y'alls that went down to Louisville, anyone happen to have a plastic Kroger bag with some blue Bloomington polo shirts and I think my Tree City jersey in it...bummer but I don't think I ever recovered it. Here's to hoping!

Polo Travel Preparedness List

I have been thinking of doing this for a while, so I finally typed up my Polo Travel Preparedness List. It is an evolving list of things that we would have liked to have at one point at a tournament. We are usually 4-15 hours away and something breaks or goes flat. Well if you would have thought ahead and packed a spare you would be fine! So next time you are packing for a big weekend with some of your best friends, check the list and have a great time. It is also a link on the right sidebar under Polo Travel List. Trust me, it is usually much more than this pile. If there is anything you guys could think to put on there, put it in the comments on this thread. I will update.

Bluegrass Boondoggle this Saturday!

Looks like most of us will be driving down on Saturday morning and hanging around to party that night. Tree City is in, Amberlamps is down one Donnie and looking for a third, and "Mantasia" (i cringe when i type that) is definitely in... hopefully we can find another vehicle and some of the newer players can get in on this? Megan? Brenden? Quella? Mitch??

Lots of prizes, polo, and drinking to be had! Get yr ass to Louisville this weekend!

Lafayette in town tonight, Donnie is down for the count

Notice how his leg is lying flat but his foot is pointing dead left? Yeah, that's not how ankles work.. though Donnie works harder than anyone on the court, and this just proves it. Maybe this was the sacrifice the polo gods required before lifting Donnie's rookie status??? Naw, just bad luck and a wet court. But after a year of pickup, a trophy from state, and an ankle broken in three places I think he has officially moved from "rookie" to "player". Next up- "slayer".

Also our good friends from Lafayette are gonna be in town tonight, so make sure to come out and give 'em hell. Grudge match anyone? Afterwards we'll bring donnie a well deserved sip of whiskey.
