Bizzaro Pre-Polo World

Hey everybody!!!

I was just writing you all to see how everyone is doing. (Especially now that I figured out what was wrong with my blogger account and now I can finally add to the blog again) But anywhoo, I hope you all are having a great summer, Zach I look forward to checking either here or polo-velo to get all of your coverage of bench minor in Chicago this weekend.

But also I ran across an old photo (summer of of '08: pre polo) where Zach and I's paths first crossed...oh how we have changed, a few screws in a wrist, but many unforgettable polo nights.

Also, I should be getting some clipless shoes for polo tomorrow so I will probably do a write up of my thoughts pros/cons of playin clipless polo.

Bench Minor in Chicago!

About ready get on the road and head north. Seven people from Bloomington heading up to this and not one of us are even playing! Look for Lomax and I wearing the zebra stripes and Travis working the bullhorn.

I've come to realize that Bench Minor is basically bike polo's all star game. I've never been so excited to not play polo!

Pickup today - 6 to 9pm

At the basketball courts across from the hospital on 2nd st.

Afterward we'll be having a six-pack shuffle! Don't know what that is? Imagine a nighttime group ride- but with booze! Not sure if we've agreed on a starting point yet, but i'm thinking the Big Red at 2nd and Walnut... any other suggestions?

Going to ESPI VI!

Matt is about to drive Zachary and I to Philadelphia! We're picking up the Cardinal on the way. SBSW is gonna put a hurtin' on this east coast qualifier!
